Every video project has the potential to be powerful, motivational and impactful. Every one. The creative artists at Skyline Post are dedicated to realizing that potential. Through the harmonious blend of sound and motion, we tell stories and create emotional journeys that connect with the audience, that drive brand messages and make an impact.

We believe that at the heart of every video is a great story to be told. We find that story and embrace it, refine it and celebrate it.  We use our experience, our expertise, our deep well of creative resources and finesse the end product with a little bit of style. ‘Cause who gets hurt from that?

What’s the story you want to tell?

    Video Production

There’s No Such Thing as a “Simple Video”.  That’s not our rule, that’s the inherent nature of the beast. The overall story of every video is told not only through content, but through an integrated variety of elements such as:  casting, directing, cinematography, lighting, set design, location scouting and more and more and more. We just make it all look simple. Big difference.

    Creative Editorial

It’s not the machine; it’s the man (or woman) at the machine. Our editors use their experience and expertise to incorporate a variety of elements in each video based on the overall message you’re trying to deliver. Storytellers first — technicians second.

    Motion Design

Motion design is not animation. OK, part of it is animation, yes, but not “Tom & Jerry” animation. Really? Tom & Jerry? Cat and mouse. Classic cartoons. Nothing? Never mind. Ask someone over 40. What we’re saying here is that all the post stuff looks cool. Words and logos and graphics and images — that have motion. What’s that? Yes, technically that is animation, but… Just check out the examples below.

    Original Music & Sound Design

The waves crash helplessly on the shore. The seagull cries out before diving into the sea. Then the music begins and it makes you feel sad/inspired/energetic/outraged. Original music helps set the tone for your story in a totally unique way and sound design helps to enhance your overall video experience. Take a look at the selected videos to see what we mean.

    Randall Owens
    Executive Producer/Partner

As a founding partner and executive producer at Skyline, Randall is the guy responsible for pushing us to our creative limits and then pushing a little more.  With a 22-year background in television, commercial production and advertising, Randall brings experienced leadership to the Skyline team.  Although he loves production and post, his true passion is music and singing with his wife Laura.

    George Wise
    Partner

In addition to being a founding partner, George is also our resident renaissance man. He began his career writing and recording advertising jingles, snaring his first regional college AAF award at age 19, soon followed by music for a regional bank campaign. As a graphic artist, he has produced nationally published advertising designs, layouts and illustrations. He has played music professionally in 30 states, recorded with Grammy-award-winning writers, and his voice and guitar work have aired nationally. George stays in shape by climbing over a mountain of ADDY awards to get to his desk every day.

    Anthony Tomlinson
    Senior Account Executive

Anthony heads up our client service and new business development division and brings nearly a quarter century of sales and customer service experience with him to Skyline. He and his wife have been married for over twenty years and have two wonderfully talented and creative children, one a jazz drummer and aspiring audio engineer, the other a ballet dancer at a performing arts high school and competition cheerleader. He is an avid sports fan (semi-boxing historian) and has coached travel and high school soccer teams for fifteen years. When he’s not out singing the praises of ‘all things Skyline’, his alter ego is busy being the lead singer/guitar player in a 1980’s tribute band. He does not have ‘big hair’ nor does he dance on the hood of cars in Whitesnake videos!

    Brian Cooper
    Smoke Artist

Originally from Rochester, NY, Brian joined the Skyline team in 2006. With over ten years experience editing for agencies, he understands that making sure clients have a great experience in the edit suite is a major factor in any successful project. Outside of work he becomes a popular guy every few months when he shares his latest batch of home-brewed beer, which he enjoys best after playing ice hockey with his team in Greenville. Yes, there’s an ice hockey league in Greenville.

    Alan Woodworth
    Motion Designer

It may have been Greenville’s rich advertising community which initially drew Alan and his wife Tamyria to town in the mid 90′s. However, it was our city’s “small town charm” that captured their gypsy hearts and kept them here to raise their three boys. As a 20+ year veteran art director, Alan brings an arsenal of tools and experience to the table. Whatever the creative needs of your project, be it motion design or 3D animation, Alan strives to hear the three most valued words in our industry, “I Love It!”
